Dr. Zainal Adwin is a Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon with a strong focus on minimally invasive and robotic urological surgery, men’s health, and complex urological conditions. He is currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital Johor, where he provides evidence-based, patient-centred care using advanced surgical technology.

Dr. Zainal completed his Robotic Pelvic Oncology Fellowship at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, gaining extensive experience in robotic-assisted prostate surgery and advanced laparoscopic procedures. His training and career span academic medicine, clinical research, and surgical innovation, allowing him to offer modern, safe, and effective treatment options tailored to each patient. He has previously served as a Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where he was actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and research. Dr. Zainal is also a Consulting Editor for BJUI Compass and a member of the #UroSoMe working group, contributing to global urology education and digital health awareness. Known for his clear communication and compassionate approach, Dr. Zainal believes in empowering patients with knowledge, early diagnosis, and shared decision-making to achieve the best long-term outcomes.
